Common questions about online visits
How much does an online visit cost?
A message-based visit is $39 and a video or phone visit is $69. The price is flat and shown before you pay, with no insurance required.
Can I get a prescription online?
Yes, when it is medically appropriate. Your clinician sends prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy you choose. Qare clinicians do not prescribe controlled substances, and paying for a visit is not a purchase of medication.
How fast will I hear back?
Visits are answered within minutes. You will be notified in your patient portal as soon as your provider responds.
Do I need insurance to use Qare?
No. Qare is cash-pay, so you pay one flat fee per visit. Any medication is paid for separately at your pharmacy.
Who will treat me?
A board-certified physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner with an active New Jersey and Pennsylvania license. Their name and credentials appear on your visit and treatment plan.
What conditions cannot be treated online?
Anything requiring a hands-on exam, imaging, in-person testing or emergency care. Chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain and suspected stroke need emergency care. Call 911.
Is my health information private?
Yes. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the clinicians involved in your care, and every record view is audit-logged. Qare never sells your information or shares it with advertisers.
